Alums thriving with USA U20s

Highland Rugby alums Randy "Don" Pati and Naki Angilau are not only playing with the USA U20s currently; they are thriving.  Pati, who was arguably the most dominant player on the field at last year's U-19 nationals in Pittsburgh, was named as captian of the squad for their last match against New Zealand Universities U21s.  He has started both games at scrumhalf, and has earned high praise from the coaching staff thus far.  “Don Pati looks to be like a guy who can probably help America,” said Coach Ray Lehner. “[He] could have played for the other team and would have slotted right in.”

In addition to the spectacular play of Pati, Naki Angilau, who played incredible fullback for HR last year, started in the second game at wing and gave the Americans an early lead with a score in the first minute.

Best of luck to both of these fine young men - way to represent Highland Rugby!
