
Rick Spencer is a certified / licensed athletic trainer and has been with the Highland Rugby Club since 1993 serving as the medical coordinator and communicator between the myriad of physicians that have worked with the team and the players, coaches and parents. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1991 and has worked with numerous schools, clubs, and other athletic organizations.
Rick has been a part of several studies on youth injuries and especially concussions and has been a co-author of a study of concussions with high school aged rugby athletes published in the Jornal of Athletic Training. He is currently employed by the Tooele High School.
He enjoys working with youth, traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
